the Service Dog Trainers Association™

the Service Dog Trainers Association™ has been pairing American military members past and present with Service Dogs around the world since 2006. The organization was established on the basis and ability to "Train your own" Service Dog. Opening a role of communication and bonding essential to the Alert process. The directives for the organization parallel only those written in the American with Disabilities Act of 1990, revisions in 2010,and revisions in 2015. Currently only dogs are in our training program.

Only recently have we grown to support civilians of the community and welcome all disabled individuals to become (handler) members. Support positions for progressive trainer (+R) members are also available.

Embedded in our mission is obedience training and foundations outlined in the American Kennel Club© (STAR Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, Community Canine, and Urban Canine) programs. After considerable research and development we feel this nationwide program to be the best in qualifying Service Dogs and their development in Public Access.

By far this organization does not allow any availability for false Service Dog enrollment or fraud against the law. A strict membership policy exists; paired with correspondence with your physician  (Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Medical Specialist, Psychotherapy, Case Worker). Due to the sensitive nature of personal information. It is pertinent to inform all perspective members that your information is covered under Health Insurance Portability and Account Act; it cannot and will never be shared under any circumstances including, but not limited to inquiry by outside representatives.
